The Christian church is divided into 2 groups – the righteous and the ungodly.
1 Peter 5:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
The Old Testament parallel for the church split is the divided nations of Israel and Judah. Israel was carnal and behaved in a ungodly manner from the beginning, whilst Judah was generally more righteous, serving God. (although it too had seasons of rebellion and ultimately followed the ways of Israel)
At this point in history we are in the parallel OT times of the kings of Ahaz (Judah) and Hoshea (Israel). Ahaz is the Charismatic church movement (the manifested response to the most recent outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit) and Hoshea represents every Church that has resisted this latest move of God. Churches from every denomination fall into either of these two group based on their receptiveness to the Holy Spirit – God’s Spirit is not bound by man’s natural barriers (denominations), but it is by the state of the heart, especially that of the spiritual leaders of a fellowship. (Those churches that resists and yoke themselves unto men or the old works of God are like old wine skins that cannot receive of the new outpouring of God – this is why you never see a new revival burst forth in existing denominations. If they were fully submissive to the Spirit of God, there would be no need for a new outpouring)
At this very time the king of Assyria has started the process of bringing Israel into bondage, ultimately sending carnal Christian’s into permanent captivity. That means the majority of believers are about to go into spiritual slavery, never to return, much like the nation of Israel in 722 BC. The great falling away is just ahead.
Assyria represents the world power of this age and is the 3rd beast as prophesied by Daniel. In this age this beast manifests as capitalism (as opposed to free trade, capitalism is essentially enslaving others through financial might) and is also the power behind democracy. Democracy is simply the tool used by capitalists to convince the people they have power, whereas in reality they have none. Those with real power, financial might, simply;
– ensure that the chosen people are presented as the candidates for public service;
– direct their media mouthpiece to convince the people of what issues must be debated and which decisions must be made;
– manufacture events that convince the people to act and vote in a certain direction;
– manipulate vote counting as an outcome when required.
(should any ‘non-preferred’ leader gain selection, they will be continually opposed, marginalized and even disposed of)
In the season ahead, the system of capitalism will start to assume authority over the carnal church. If anyone is in doubt in this regard they need only look at recent events in the Vatican where the latest pope, Pope Francis has literally opened the doors of the Catholic church to every possible Capitalist entity to audit the books and the church as a whole. I have no doubt globalist capitalist entities will fleece the catholic church of all its assets and spiritual power in time, but not without a short lived rebellion as evidenced by the rebellion of King Hoshea.
In future carnal Christians will no longer be led of the Lord or the ideals of the Lord, but:
– they will be motivated and moved by the desire for self gain, even at the expense of others,
– success will be defined as natural gain and increase as opposed to spiritual;
– democracy will increase within these churches, deposing the anointed and appointed of God
– Association with other religions will increase as they desire a unity out of the Spirit
– doctrines of devils will abound and the carnal church will increasingly mirror the fallen world.
– Much of the church will become irrelevant to God.
Thankfully, in God’s mercy, Assyria will not overcome the Spirit filled church, but not for a lack of trying. A new revival will come upon those that continue to seek the Lord. The excesses and corruption of the Charismatic movement will be rejected and a hunger for righteousness will lead to the most powerful revival (Hezekiah) since the days of the Apostles (Solomon).
Now is the time to draw close to God. There will come a time where living a carnal and compromised Christian faith will have grave consequences. Now is the time to recommit to God without compromise. Those that don’t will succumb to the beast of this age and will not even see their downfall coming.
