End Time Deception

2 Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

What could possibly lead to Christians falling away from God? Surely we can discern the lies of the devil.

The falling away will come through gradual deception, a twisting of the truth, a subtle lie. A lie that that must be progressively woven into and impact every facet of the Christian world. This type of deception requires a high level of intervention. Throughout history this type of change has generally taken place forcefully under dominant powers such as Babylon, Greece, Rome, Nazi Germany, Communism or through war and revolutions.

But forceful powers have never destroyed Christianity, in fact the very opposite has taken place. Christianity thrives under persecution.

But now we live under a world power that is very different, one that is very subtle, like a leopard, almost hidden, infiltrating our living rooms, schools and lives through the education system, the media, entertainment industry and most recently through the Internet. One that will slowly fulfill Isaiah 5:20
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

This beast power began to exert authority under the advent of the industrial revolution and birthed the evil theory of evolution which has led to the subjugation and death of many cultures. Slavery, communism and wars all followed and continue with increasing intensity, but the greatest evil is the hidden onslaught of lies and misinformation against the ultimate prize, the Church.

The church has been attacked from within through false leaders & prophets and false doctrine & teachings and from without through the ongoing indoctrination of the media. That which is Christian is increasingly declared wrong and that which is wrong in God’s sight is considered right. And the Christians have slowly began to believe the lies. Where the church once stood as a light on a hill, it is increasingly mirroring this fallen world in thought, attitude and action.

Eventually the church will become so compromised and adulterated that the Spirit of God will leave the Body of Christ and the church will go into spiritual captivity. In the near future we will see the following:

1. A powerful spiritual revival
2. The 1st stage of this falling away when many Christian denominations will join together with other faiths in a world interfaith body. Supposedly for unity, peace or some other ‘useful goal’ it really is the first stage of the falling away. This body will eventually persecute the church.
3. The hidden world power of this age will gain increasing authority over humanity, changing beliefs through misinformation, false science and evil laws, continually impoverishing and oppressing the people. The most likely form of govt to be communism or something similar.

The only antidote to this prophesied falling away is to spend time with God. Pray, read the Word, fast, have fellowship with small groups of genuine believers. Do not follow the masses and avoid the hype.

Rapture-Another false doctrine

rapture

Spirit led Christianity in the west is at an all time low since the days of the Apostles. The Charismatic movement has been the most rebellious and compromised of all man’s responses to God’s outpouring since the beginning of the church. So it is no surprise that doctrine is in a similar state and one of the favorite topics of false teachers and failed prophets is the teaching around the term rapture.

Let me explain why the imminent rapture as it is being taught in the Church is not about to take place:

1. Everything that happens under the New Covenant must have a corresponding shadow / event in the Old Testament. The times of the Gentiles follows the times of the Hebrews in every way. Can anyone show the rapture of the Old Covenant as expected in these end times? No! What we do however have is an event that took place in the OT where God’s people had rebelled and rejected the Lord. Prophets were raised up to bring warnings and prophecies, calling the people to repentance and restoration to the Lord.

The people ignored the warnings and God pronounced judgment and the pending exile into Babylon. Of course He needed to make a way to protect the chosen few faithfuls. In Jeremiah 24:5 the prophet says God is going to send his people into Babylon, ahead of the destruction of Jerusalem, to protect them from the coming judgment. “Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good”.

Then, when Babylon was to be judged, God restored His people back to Israel. Sound familiar? It should, because just before God is about to judge the end time Babylon system he calls His people out in Revelations 18:4 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” The faithful will likewise be sent into the end time Babylon system to survive the coming judgment and destruction upon the Church.

Yes I know, nobody believes God will withdraw His Spirit from the Church, just like the Jews said they would live in their promised land forever. The fact is, the Church has always been rebellious and it will come under judgment in the future because of this rebellion.

2. We are still under the times of the 3rd Beast as prophesied by Daniel. We have not yet entered the times of the 4th Beast which manifested as Babylon or Rome in the past. Any Christian wanting to understand these events needs to get a spiritual revelation of the end times from the Old Testament. But to assist in this regard the 4th beast in these end times is the United Nations. Once the United Nations gains world authority (but in the near future its power will somewhat diminish) faithful people will see the parallel events and actions unfolding to fulfill biblical prophecy.

So ignore the prophecies of the rapture. Its not for this season and it is certainly does not mean leaving this earth. In the end times, when Christ returns to defeat death, the faithful will be raised from the dead and they together with the faithful that live on the earth at the time, will all be changed from natural to spiritual bodies to reign with Christ for a 1000 years. They will no longer be bound to the earth by the natural bodies. They will become spiritual like Christ.
