Rapture-Another false doctrine

rapture

Spirit led Christianity in the west is at an all time low since the days of the Apostles. The Charismatic movement has been the most rebellious and compromised of all man’s responses to God’s outpouring since the beginning of the church. So it is no surprise that doctrine is in a similar state and one of the favorite topics of false teachers and failed prophets is the teaching around the term rapture.

Let me explain why the imminent rapture as it is being taught in the Church is not about to take place:

1. Everything that happens under the New Covenant must have a corresponding shadow / event in the Old Testament. The times of the Gentiles follows the times of the Hebrews in every way. Can anyone show the rapture of the Old Covenant as expected in these end times? No! What we do however have is an event that took place in the OT where God’s people had rebelled and rejected the Lord. Prophets were raised up to bring warnings and prophecies, calling the people to repentance and restoration to the Lord.

The people ignored the warnings and God pronounced judgment and the pending exile into Babylon. Of course He needed to make a way to protect the chosen few faithfuls. In Jeremiah 24:5 the prophet says God is going to send his people into Babylon, ahead of the destruction of Jerusalem, to protect them from the coming judgment. “Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good”.

Then, when Babylon was to be judged, God restored His people back to Israel. Sound familiar? It should, because just before God is about to judge the end time Babylon system he calls His people out in Revelations 18:4 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” The faithful will likewise be sent into the end time Babylon system to survive the coming judgment and destruction upon the Church.

Yes I know, nobody believes God will withdraw His Spirit from the Church, just like the Jews said they would live in their promised land forever. The fact is, the Church has always been rebellious and it will come under judgment in the future because of this rebellion.

2. We are still under the times of the 3rd Beast as prophesied by Daniel. We have not yet entered the times of the 4th Beast which manifested as Babylon or Rome in the past. Any Christian wanting to understand these events needs to get a spiritual revelation of the end times from the Old Testament. But to assist in this regard the 4th beast in these end times is the United Nations. Once the United Nations gains world authority (but in the near future its power will somewhat diminish) faithful people will see the parallel events and actions unfolding to fulfill biblical prophecy.

So ignore the prophecies of the rapture. Its not for this season and it is certainly does not mean leaving this earth. In the end times, when Christ returns to defeat death, the faithful will be raised from the dead and they together with the faithful that live on the earth at the time, will all be changed from natural to spiritual bodies to reign with Christ for a 1000 years. They will no longer be bound to the earth by the natural bodies. They will become spiritual like Christ.
