Maturing in Christ

As a parent we recognize the various stages of life our children go through. First their is the newborn, totally dependent on us, then the young child, filled with passion and enthusiasm. After that comes the older child, a bit more externally focused but still keen to please parents.

Then out of the blue, as the child becomes a young adult with ideas and passions, the rebellious teenage years. As young adults they begin to settle down and find their purpose and passion in life. After that children and their most productive years. Thereafter middle age and grand-parenting and finally the later years with rest from labor and striving.

There is the same cycle as a Christian. We are born again, of Spirit, and filled with the revelation of a whole new dimension, new thought processes, new perspective and revelations. At first we know nothing but are caught up in the Spirit. Everything is new and exciting. We attend church regularly, partake of as many activities as we can, receiving blessing after blessing. Many Christians live for this feeling alone and fall away when the season of young love begins to pass. They never move on from self focus and being fed to wanting to do something for others. Their faith is stifled because it never translates into outward action.

Others press in and as their understanding increases they begin to share their experiences and to evangelize those around them. With faith in action, gifts start to mature and with that comes the discernment of things never noticed before in the church… the carnal, the unrighteous and even evil intent of those that linger within Christianity. There is the crusty and cynical older brethren (who have done it and seen it and invariably know it all), the so called prophet’s and prophetess’s (whose sole purpose seems to curse others, especially the church leadership, under the guise of discernment), the self promoting ‘movers and shakers’ whose intent is to get into position’s of influence and leadership through their natural wealth or skills and then those that just have evil intent to break down the church and others in some way.

It’s a dangerous season because the devil also starts to take notice of you and will move others against you or will attempt to use your immaturity and work through you, against others. (Never forget, making mistakes is part of maturing spiritually). If your church leaders are mature they will be able to channel your passion and emerging gifts and discernment, help you realize your calling and direct you forward, so as to be an asset to the church and the Body of Christ. If however, as is often the case, they rise up against you or take offense because of their own carnality, they will marginalize or rebuke you in some way which will cause pain.

At this point one can humble oneself and repent before the leadership or leave and find another fellowship that can hopefully harness for good that which God is doing in or revealing to you. Sadly most church leaders only recognize their own authority and ministry as God’s authority in the church and they suppress any other gifts or ministry, which is considered a threat. For this reason there are very few active prophets and apostles, few evangelists and fewer teachers and why church’s never move in real power.

Many will leave and wander from church to church become increasingly discontent, feeling they know more than church leaders. The offense is realized when they begin to speak against the church leaders, which is in fact cursing and in so doing become a tool of the devil (like a rebellious teenager, they exercise spiritual rebellion) Others will simply withdraw from contributing and become pew warmers. Many, many Christians don’t move on from this place; they just stop maturing and and that is where their faith remains. They never move on to the fullness of their calling in Christ. God is not really interested if you are correct at this time, He is interested in how you respond to the situation when others reject your discernment or gifting? The response should be humbling oneself, intercession for that leadership, finding small ways to impact lives outside of the church and maturing their gifts further. In due season God will raise up those that are humble and patient. If one can just hold on, be submissive in spite of the rebuke or offense, God can turn it out for good for all – even for the carnal leadership.

Beyond this is the stage of blessing and increase. Christians who have become humble, who do not take offense on behalf of the Cross, who do not judge others but are rather a blessing in the face adversity, have learnt to wait on the Lord to move instead of acting and expecting God to follow…. these are mature Christians who can receive favor, increase, authority and position without being corrupted, without lifting up the self.

There are so few current Church leaders, especially those within the latest response to God’s outpouring (the Charismatics) that have reached this station of authority by going through this ‘4 soils’ schooling of the Holy Spirit . They have short circuited this process in some way and the evidence is clear for all to see. The leadership is in many ways an offense to God.

Thankfully God has been preparing the leadership for the next revival that is coming soon. They have been refined, rejected and have wandered through the desert without purpose or direction. The time is coming soon for these leaders to rise out up out of obscurity and bring forth the greatest revival since the days of the apostles. Their only danger is that of pride. Pride that might come through such great manifestations of the Holy Spirit. I hope not.

And here’s hoping those that have led the previous responses to God’s outpouring will become intercessors for the work instead of judges and accusers as has always happened in the past.

Christianity Captivity at Hand

The Christian church is divided into 2 groups – the righteous and the ungodly.

1 Peter 5:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

The Old Testament parallel for the church split is the divided nations of Israel and Judah. Israel was carnal and behaved in a ungodly manner from the beginning, whilst Judah was generally more righteous, serving God. (although it too had seasons of rebellion and ultimately followed the ways of Israel)

At this point in history we are in the parallel OT times of the kings of Ahaz (Judah) and Hoshea (Israel). Ahaz is the Charismatic church movement (the manifested response to the most recent outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit) and Hoshea represents every Church that has resisted this latest move of God. Churches from every denomination fall into either of these two group based on their receptiveness to the Holy Spirit – God’s Spirit is not bound by man’s natural barriers (denominations), but it is by the state of the heart, especially that of the spiritual leaders of a fellowship. (Those churches that resists and yoke themselves unto men or the old works of God are like old wine skins that cannot receive of the new outpouring of God – this is why you never see a new revival burst forth in existing denominations. If they were fully submissive to the Spirit of God, there would be no need for a new outpouring)

At this very time the king of Assyria has started the process of bringing Israel into bondage, ultimately sending carnal Christian’s into permanent captivity. That means the majority of believers are about to go into spiritual slavery, never to return, much like the nation of Israel in 722 BC. The great falling away is just ahead.

Assyria represents the world power of this age and is the 3rd beast as prophesied by Daniel. In this age this beast manifests as capitalism (as opposed to free trade, capitalism is essentially enslaving others through financial might) and is also the power behind democracy. Democracy is simply the tool used by capitalists to convince the people they have power, whereas in reality they have none. Those with real power, financial might, simply;

– ensure that the chosen people are presented as the candidates for public service;
– direct their media mouthpiece to convince the people of what issues must be debated and which decisions must be made;
– manufacture events that convince the people to act and vote in a certain direction;
– manipulate vote counting as an outcome when required.
(should any ‘non-preferred’ leader gain selection, they will be continually opposed, marginalized and even disposed of)

In the season ahead, the system of capitalism will start to assume authority over the carnal church. If anyone is in doubt in this regard they need only look at recent events in the Vatican where the latest pope, Pope Francis has literally opened the doors of the Catholic church to every possible Capitalist entity to audit the books and the church as a whole. I have no doubt globalist capitalist entities will fleece the catholic church of all its assets and spiritual power in time, but not without a short lived rebellion as evidenced by the rebellion of King Hoshea.

In future carnal Christians will no longer be led of the Lord or the ideals of the Lord, but:
– they will be motivated and moved by the desire for self gain, even at the expense of others,
– success will be defined as natural gain and increase as opposed to spiritual;
– democracy will increase within these churches, deposing the anointed and appointed of God
– Association with other religions will increase as they desire a unity out of the Spirit
– doctrines of devils will abound and the carnal church will increasingly mirror the fallen world.
– Much of the church will become irrelevant to God.

Thankfully, in God’s mercy, Assyria will not overcome the Spirit filled church, but not for a lack of trying. A new revival will come upon those that continue to seek the Lord. The excesses and corruption of the Charismatic movement will be rejected and a hunger for righteousness will lead to the most powerful revival (Hezekiah) since the days of the Apostles (Solomon).

Now is the time to draw close to God. There will come a time where living a carnal and compromised Christian faith will have grave consequences. Now is the time to recommit to God without compromise. Those that don’t will succumb to the beast of this age and will not even see their downfall coming.

Christian Revival is on the Horizon

Revival is Coming

One can always tell when the Christian church is in revival. The impact of a church on fire for God is felt by those in the faith and those without. Everyone is a recipient of God’s outpouring when the church is yielding to God. The opposite is also true. When the church is compromised or lukewarm the whole world suffers and right now we are in a time of compromise, a time of backsliding and a time of lukewarmness.

The Charismatic movement, the most recent response to God’s outpouring, has come and is now fading and like every other denomination before it, all that will remain will be the works of man. No one can doubt the works for the Lord, but these are increasingly man’s works and not those of the Spirit of God. The gifts in action are natural, not spiritual; the focus on earthly things, not heavenly and the fruit that is born is earthly, no longer of the Lord. As each day goes by the Charismatic church becomes increasingly ineffective and irrelevant to God. This is becoming more and more obvious to those within the Body of Christ who are rejecting the excesses, the corruption and the lusts of this movement as well as those without the faith who are increasingly condemning the Church.

God is moving on from the Charismatics and nobody has noticed. This is a good thing really, because it means revival is coming. Yes spiritual revival is coming to the body of Christ. Praise God. And when God begins to move people in a new way we will see the same breakthroughs, the same impact on society, the same healings and the same transformations Christians have seen in revival throughout the ages. Once again Christianity will begin to influence and shape society for good, for excellence, for beauty, for life and abundant life.

Hopefully we will see the blindness removed and spiritual revelation bringing back discernment to the body of Christ. These are the things that I personally would like to see addressed by Christians under the new revival:

1. Exposing the fakery of modern day Israel. This is not a nation restored by God. There has been no repentance, there has been no acceptance of Christ, there has been no fruit of the Spirit, and there has been no restoration to the faith, not even to the laws of the Old Testament. What we have is the Antichrist at work, and the fruits thereof are for all to see, if they choose to look and see. I hope God will expose this evil once and for all to prevent many falling away. Modern day Israel is a nation of non Jews (by their own genetic analysis) who reject the Old Testament as myths and false stories, who have a Satanic symbol as their flag emblem and who oppose Christ at every turn. The misery and suffering this work has spawned is only accepted because of a belief in the US that God has restored the Zionists to the land of Palestine. The reality is modern day Israel will lead to spiritual bondage for the Body of Christ in the future. Ever since America started supporting Israel, it has gone into steep decline; morally, socially, economically and spiritually. May God open the eyes of those that lead the new revival in Christ.

2. Exposing the fakery of jihadist Islam. Many believe the troubles of the Middle East are caused by radical elements of Islam. The reality is all these radical groupings have been formed, funded, trained and directed by elements within the western governments and Israel. Who knows what the ultimate goal of this evil is, but it is certainly not to advance Islam. Ultimately there will be a war in the Middle East between Israel and these radical elements. Great efforts will be made to draw Christians into this war because this war is purposed to be a religious war; to destroy religion, especially Christianity and usher in a new one world state govt. That is the whole goal of that which has been fermented in the Middle East at this time. Islam is just a convenient tool for this end and is only possible because of the blindness of those who have been convinced of a greater cause. Fools that are used to kill, steal and destroy and in the process destroy their own souls.

3. Exposing the fakery in western governments. Almost every government in the Western world is a puppet government. The real power lies with the corporations, the multinationals and the banking cartels that fund and place politicians in positions of power. The real purpose of these dual party states is to rob nations and thereby their citizens, of all the assets and wealth. Each year state assets are being sold off to private companies while money is spent on increased govt, useless endeavours and repaying debt to bankers. Eventually every national asset from rail to ports to electricity to hospitals to public transport and everything in between will be owned by private entities and the citizens will be paying a huge premium for every service that should be free. The poor will suffer and the rich will grow richer and no one sees it coming. This is the foundation of the one world government of the Antichrist. Hopefully Christians will rise up and expose this ongoing evil.

4. Exposing the fakery of Christian endeavours. The only gifts of note in the church at this time are natural gifts. There is very little healing, there is very little wisdom, there are no miracles, there is little knowledge, few tongues but a lot of babbling, no interpretation of tongues, hardly any spiritual discernment and prophecy is vague and almost never comes to pass. In truth, there are few spiritual gifts at work. The emphasis of the church has been to build natural empires, to own large properties and assets, to exult oneself at the expense of the poor and needy and to emphasise the need for money at every turn. God said, give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s. That is the end of the matter on money and all that which represents the riches of this world.

5. Exposing fake doctrine such as tithing of money, rock band musicians, the importation of secular doctrines, theories and teachings, natural based ministry empires and the turning of the gospel into enterprises.

Hopefully the church will sell all its natural assets and focus on its spiritual assets for the glory of God. Jesus was given the same option that Adam was and what we are; and that is to have a natural kingdom or to forsake all and have a spiritual kingdom. We know his choice – all that he left behind was in the hearts and minds of humanity. There is no Jesus ministry building, there are no natural assets and there is no enterprise or gold hoard belonging to Jesus.

Thank God revival is coming and all those that that cling to the old or refuse to yield to the Spirit of God will be left behind just like those churches of the past. All that will be left is their glorious buildings filled with dead men’s bones and the works of dead men’s hands and those that cling onto the old will despise the new works and workers God is raising up.

Come revival. Come Lord Jesus. Restore your Body. Forgive your children for hardness of heart, for compromise, for lack of discernment, for lack of interest and stiff necked stubbornness. Wash away the old and bring the new.

The coming revival through Christian Activists

revival

A Christian Activist is an agent a change; a member of the Body of Christ working from within the faith to return the Body back to the original path. Revival is coming, but not through the established churches. Its coming through individuals , through Christian Activists. What are the signs of a Christian Activist;

  1. Activists are non respecter of persons. Christian activist treats all people equally from the greatest to the smallest. Position, wealth and power, if anything are a sign of spiritual weakness; the evidence of a life following after the treasures of this world, rather than the treasures of the world to come.
  2. Activists are doers of the Word and not only professors of the Faith. Their lives manifest the message of the Bible instead of being a rod of accusation and judgement towards others. They judge only those within the faith and are a beacon of hope and light to those that are without. Activists are not afraid to expose and challenge false doctrine and ungodliness within the Body of Christ.
  3. Activists do not compromise the gospel nor themselves for the sake of fame, fortune or ministry. There is no building of ministries or income through the use of the gospel, no need for secular doctrines and programs. Making merchandise out of the gospel is not an option.
  4. The only footprint activists leave on this earth are imbedded in the hearts of mankind. There are no buildings, monuments, denominations ministries or titles worth having. All are forsaken for the spiritual increase of humanity.
  5. Christian Activists to not take ownership of what God is doing through them. There are no patents, trademarks, licensing selling or buying of that which God has freely given and done through them.
  6. Christians Activists do not take offense on behalf of God nor do they fight in the natural on His behalf. Rather their weapons are spiritual, mighty to change, powerful to establish the Kingdom of God in this world, knowing that love overcomes all things.
  7. Christian Activists do no make themselves leaders of other, but servants. They do not gather masses for their own enrichment, but they continually empower others to draw close to God, to be effectively used by God, for the glory of Christ and the increase of his kingdom.
  8. Christian Activists are committed to fasting, prayer, reading the the Word and ministering to others. There is always a spiritual goal they are working towards, a goal that sees family, neighbours, colleagues, friends and strangers coming to Jesus Christ.
  9. Christian Activists are not bound by man made boundaries; by denominations and doctrine. Nor are they swayed by race, gender, age, belief or religion. They are open to the Spirit of God for all people, for every opportunity that is presented.
  10. Christian Activists live righteous lives; lives without compromise; lives that bring glory to their heavenly Father. All action, all speech, all works are aligned with the message of Jesus Christ.
